The awards recognise and celebrate the commitment and acheivements of those who dedicate their time to protecting and promoting human rights.

The Law Society are currently taking steps to judicially review the LSC's decision to award family law contracts to a drastically reduced number of legal aid firms. YLAL wholeheartedly endorses this legal challenge.
YLAL is very concerned about the huge reduction in the number of firms and organisations that will be able to provide family and social welfare advice and representation.
