The purpose of this role is to project advice, assistance and support to clients going through a crisis in their lives. Help Through Crisis (funded by the National Lottery Community Fund) is a consortium of local organisations led by Ealing Community and Voluntary Service (ECVS).

Ealing Law Centre (ELC) employs a Crisis Navigator as part of this project who works at the Foodbank and alongside the Duty Solicitor at Brentford County Court.

The Help Through Crisis Ealing project aims to identify those in housing and/or food crisis who have had unresolved issues over a prolonged period of time and provide support for them to overcome the immediate crisis and work towards longer term stability. Longer term support will be provided through peer mentoring and coaching. We have seen some excellent success stories and the work is broad, challenging yet rewarding. The model has been rolled out across several other Law Centres.
