Extinction Rebellion's Legal Support Team are recruiting up to 10 researchers to contribute to our ‘Questions Inbox’. The post holder will be researching legal questions from the public and creating concise, well-developed, and referenced responses. The questions will mainly relate to criminal, immigration and human rights law.
The post holder will not necessarily be an expert in the above areas of law. Materials and resources will be provided and they will work closely with an expert team of solicitors and barristers to ensure that they are supported in their work. Each submission will also be peer reviewed and signed off by a legal professional.
The hours are flexible and can be performed remotely. Relevant training will be provided. We request a minimum commitment of 10 hours a week, or a turn over of 3 questions/responses a week.

Legal experts-barristers and solicitors, legal academics and students are all welcome.
This role is suitable for self-motivated individuals who are committed to the advancement of social justice and who are interested in gaining experience within an international environmental campaigns network.
