Barrister’s paralegal (London)

Job title: paralegal (part-time).

Location: candidate must be based in London.

Pay: £30/hour.

Hours: 7 hours/week, worked over either 1 or 2 days of the candidate’s choosing.

Duration: six months, with potential for renewal.

Franck Magennis is looking for a committed and militant paralegal to join him seven hours (one day) per week. This role is not for the faint-hearted: it will suit those wanting to engage in the legal fray and challenge prevailing capitalist ideology head-on. The ideal candidate will be consistent, good with administration, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

You’ll contribute to research, case preparation, and advocacy across a range of practice areas, helping to meet the legal needs of organisations and comrades at the forefront of workers’ and communist struggle.

Fascism is on the rise worldwide, Zionism is committing a genocide in the name of racial supremacy, and the US–centred global order has been in crisis since 2008. As a paralegal, you will have a chance to participate – however marginally – in the fight against imperial capitalism.
