Covent Garden Family Law (London) – Family Paralegal

Covent Garden Family Law are a niche family practice that undertakes publicly funded and private work from its offices in Covent Garden. We mainly specialise in care proceedings and international child abduction matters. Our small team of specialists regularly undertake their own advocacy at court and we are a 10/15 minute walk from the Central Family Court and High Court and therefore often undertake urgent court matters.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated paralegal to join our family team and to provide direct assistance to our Directors as well as managing your own case load from start to finish, under supervision. You will be expected to attend court with counsel, meet with clients and attend pre-proceedings meetings.

It is desirable if you have completed your LPC or equivalent and have prior experience of legal aid work. You will also need excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise multiple pending tasks and work effectively when under time pressure. You will need to have computer literacy and an ability to use initiative at work.

Salary: £22k
