Simpson Millar (London) – Public Law and Human Rights Paralegal
Simpson Millar are looking to recruit two bright and enthusiastic Paralegals to support our Solicitors with public law and human rights cases in our nationally recognised, Public Law and Human Rights department.
You’ll be based in our London office (WC2A 1AP) 2-3 days per week, with the option to work from home for the remainder of the week as part of our flexible working schedule.
What does the team do? We work on legal cases involving public law, community care, claims against public authorities and inquests, including representing victims of trafficking, vulnerable migrants, unaccompanied minors, looked after children and care leavers in a mix of judicial review and civil claims work. Given the sensitivity of the cases, this role is best suited to someone who has experience working with vulnerable clients.
What will you do?
- Work to tight deadlines
- Review and draft documents, including correspondence and witness statements
- Assist in the preparation of bundle
- Complete legal aid forms and applications
- Assist with new client enquiries
- Liaise with clients and other parties by phone, email and in person

Salary: £22,400 per annum plus on target bonus
