About Bhatt Murphy
Bhatt Murphy was established in 1998 by a group of lawyers who share a commitment to the protection of civil liberties.
We provide specialist representation to members of the public who seek accountability from public authorities. Our clients bring cases against the police, the immigration authorities, mental health providers, social services and the criminal justice agencies. We have been involved in many high-profile cases since the firm was first established 28 years ago, including landmark challenges which have resulted in positive change for some of the most marginalised and vulnerable in society.

We try to ensure that our staff are listened to and have opportunities to progress within the firm. We have lots of social events throughout the year and we are committed to looking after the mental health of our staff, from keeping our kitchen stocked with fruit to offering access to targeted wellbeing support.
