Bindmans – Court of Protection Solicitors (Public Law and Human Rights)

Our Court of Protection team, which is part of our Public Law and Human Rights Department, is looking to recruit two dynamic, innovative and exceptional solicitors to join us.

£42,000 – £55,000 dependent on experience.


Overview of key responsibilities

The roles involve handling a substantial Court of Protection caseload, with some, limited scope to undertake other public law work alongside this, including in education, community care, representing bereaved families at inquests, civil claims, judicial reviews, and healthcare challenges. Candidates will need to demonstrate significant experience in running a Court of Protection caseload of their own. Subject to that, we are interested in applications from candidates at all levels, up to associate and salaried partner level.

Position one: Locum maternity cover, for a period of 12 months commencing Jan/Feb 2026.

Position two: Permanent role which provides an exciting opportunity to develop an interesting and varied practice.
