Demonstrate! 30 July

The campaign against cuts to legal aid has made incredible progress. Now is the time for more pressure than ever before.

YLAL is supporting public events on 30 July, as part of a national day of action against the cuts. This will be the anniversary of the date when the law creating the modern legal aid system, the Legal Advice and Assistance Act 1949, gained Royal Assent.

Flyers for both events and more details are below.

There will be a public meeting outside the Crown Court at 5 pm, followed by a march ending at Piccadilly Gardens where we will have a rally with speakers.
