Diversity access scheme

The Law Society’s diversity access scheme is now open for applications. The scheme “offers assistance with Legal Practice Course (LPC) fees to exceptional individuals who face or have overcome exceptional obstacles to qualify as a solicitor. Obstacles may be of a financial, social, educational or personal nature, or might relate to a disability or chronic health condition that makes the goal of qualifying as a solicitor a particularly challenging one.” The application process is for those who wish to undertake the LPC in autumn 2013 or January 2014 and will close at midday on 29 March 2013. More information and details of how to apply are available on the Law Society’s website.
