No thanks to legal aid

We have started a new series on our blog called “No Thanks to Legal Aid”. We want to gather case studies of people who have not been able to get free help since the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act (LASPO) came into force in April 2013.

Our series is inspired by the Justice Select Committee’s inquiry into LASPO and its impacts.

Find out more and submit your case study here:

We will publish a representative sample of case studies on the blog and may use them when we submit evidence to the JSC. The aim is to show the true impact of the cuts on clients, practitioners and the justice system. Your details and those of your client will be kept anonymous.

Thank you for any help you can give, and please feel welcome to share the link to our blog so others can share stories too.
